The Wyndham Grand, Chelsea Harbour, is undergoing a £25m refurbishment with a lavish event space planned, Event can reveal.
The ‘neutral' event space, set to open from January 2010, is expected to hold 600 people for dining and 800 people theatre style.
Views over the local marina are planned along with a dedicated balcony designed for smokers.
"We already have bookings for the space including weddings, corporate functions. It is in an area of London that does not have anything of this kind," said Wyndam Grand sales manager Andre Van Der Biji.
He added that Wyndham Grand is currently in the process of appointing suppliers to the venue.
