Europe's only tailgate party - where people gather in the parking lot before an event - attracted in excess of 20,000 visitors to Wembley City this weekend, prior to the NFL Pepsi Max International Series game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots.
According to the NFL, tickets sold out instantly, making 2009 the busiest tailgate party yet.
Visitors were able to view unique items from the NFL Hall of Fame and sample authentic American cuisine, while watching live performances by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Ascension Eagles cheerleaders.
"The tailgate party at Wembley City helps to define our game as a unique experience, unlike anything else available in the UK," said NFL managing director Alistair Kirkwood.
