A total of 115 Castle Pubs, which are run by company Mitchells & Butlers, across the UK are taking part in the event, including Crown & Sceptre, The Albany, The Phoenix and The Prince of Wales Feathers.
They will offer a rotating menu of between 16 and 30 craft beers over the course of the festival, including Brewdog’s Ace of Chinook, Meantime Raspberry, Four Pure Vienna Lager and Siren Soundwave IPA.
Exclusive varieties such as Meantime’s Alpha Delta, Hogstar Pale Ale and a new beverage created by Castle Pub managers in collaboration with Cloudwater Brewery in Manchester will also be on offer.
The festival is designed to showcase and celebrate the best of British breweries, and organisers expect to serve over 50,000 consumers throughout the 12-week period.
Ben Lockwood, craft beer and cider procurement manager, Mitchells & Butlers said: "There’s a huge appetite for craft beer at the moment. It’s the perfect time to do one of the largest ever craftbeer festivals in the UK and with all 115 Castle pubs taking part, it’s a sure way to attract more beer enthusiasts to our pubs.
"Some of the lesser known breweries will be able to get their beers in front of a completely new audience and grow their fan base."
