The roadshow is designed to engage customers and Santander staff with the new 123 current account which pays in-credit interest and cashback on bills.
Two branded buses and six installations will tour the UK, stopping at city centres, train stations and shopping centres. Staff will hand out branded credit card wallets and umbrellas and run a competition to guess the amount of coins in perspex containers shaped in the numbers one, two and three for the chance to win £1,230.
Visitors can learn more about the new financial products from event staff who are supported by local Santander branch staff.
Early indications suggest the campaign will be a success: Carat says all targets were overachieved during the first eight live events on 5 March.
In September 2011, Carat installed a 14m red brick F1 car outside Santander’s London office to complement a TV advert featuring F1 drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton.
Paul Hicks, head of brand experience and events at Carat Sponsorship, said: "We are really excited that Santander continues to choose Carat Live to activate these campaigns."
He added: "Financial institutions have been coming under a lot of scrutiny over the last few years; however, this new 123 current account product truly addresses that, rewarding consumers for spending and for saving. Being able to put your name to helping launch such innovation is fantastic."
