The Cancer Research UK Kids and Teen’s SlideRider event will feature a 150-metre water slide in the charity’s colours. Guests will be charged to zoom down the activation, with all funds going to the cause.

The installation will form part of Alexandra Palace’s Summer Festival, which is taking place on 25 July.

The London venue has also partnered with the Rooftop Film Club to screen 1980s classic Dirty Dancing at the festival. The event will also feature a street food and craft beer section, boar races and live music.

Last Friday, Lipton Ice Tea conducted a similar slip and slide experience at King’s Cross in London. The giant yellow tunnel was in situ from 7.30am to 7.30pm and was part of the Britvic and Pepsi Lipton International brand’s Daybreakers event series.
