Cadbury fuels Londoners' day with free chocolate

Mondelez brand Cadbury enlisted a team of six cyclists to spread the joy of free chocolate across London yesterday (25 August).

The team, who rode around on a giant tandem bicycle coined the #Joycycle, visited queues across the capital in a bid to #FreeTheJoy, by providing those waiting in line with free sweet treats including the brand's Twirl, Wispa and Dairy Milk varieties.

The cyclists were unmissable in their purple shorts, braces, ties and helmets, and they could be heard from afar – five of the six individuals were equipped with instruments including a saxophone and tuba.

Those who were stuck waiting in line were encouraged to tweet @CadburyUK informing them of their dilemma, and the team noted that they might pop by.

During the tube strike earlier this month, Cadbury teamed up with Gett to offer Londoners free treats to help alleviate the stress associated with the public transport crisis.
