Fine Tuned, taking place on 8-9 July, forms part of this year’s British Style Collective presented by The Clothes Show in association with Alcatel. Fine Tuned will pay homage to iconic styles of bygone eras whilst showcasing future trends at the historic waterfront setting of Albert Dock Liverpool.
Founded by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway and the young Hemingways, the free fringe-style event will offer everything from independent designer makers, street food vendors, vintage traders, classic car display and DJs, alongside pop0-up ‘Best in Show’ catwalks, beauty makeovers and street theatre. With handmade and bespoke items on offer, makers among the line-up include Liverpool-based Toucan Tango, Aliyah Hussain, Ruth Allen, Tea Party at the Zoo, Light Fandango, Ida & Rudy, Frilly Industries, BiNO Clothing, Lee Walsh and Random Makes.
Among the vintage traders will be Gemma Redmond Vintage, who will be showcasing a curated collection of designer and finely crafted vintage costume jewellery; as well as Liverpool-based vintage store Raiders Vintage and, with a selection of vintage clothing and accessories from the 1950s, Vintage Paradise.
Wayne Hemingway said: "What better place to throw a free party on a summer's weekend than in that wonderfully evocative location that is Liverpool's historic waterfront and in a city with so much to do and that is a joy to be in right now. We are proud to be collaborating with two such iconic brands including both our host location Albert Dock Liverpool and British Style Collective."
Sue Grindrod, chief executive, Albert Dock Liverpool, added: "Albert Dock Liverpool welcomes back Wayne Hemingway and his creative team for this exciting, new, free event - complete with vintage traders, classic cars, music, dance and street theatre - all to the backdrop of our unique waterfront location. Boasting an impressive and eclectic programme, Fine Tuned promises to be a brilliant day out for the whole family and is a dazzling entry in the Dock’s 2017 event programme.
British Style Collective presented by The Clothes Show in association with Alcatel, revealed its programme for 2017 last month. Condé Nast title Glamour announced a media partnership with British Style Collective presented by The Clothes Show, which will take place in Liverpool from 7-9 July.
