Mastercard has completed the final year of its three-year deal as title sponsor of the 2001 Brit Awards.
The awards took place at Earls Court at the end of February. Mastercard activity included media promotions and partnerships based on its 'priceless' campaign.
Mastercard head of marketing UK and Ireland Rita Broe said: 'We went into it for a number of reasons, but particularly as it was skewed towards a young audience. It offered a means of reaching them by speaking a language they like and understand.'
As Marketing Event was going to press, Mastercard was reviewing its sponsorship activity. No decision had been made on next year's Brit Awards.
