The Mizkan Euro brand, which also produces relishes and sauces, has signed a co-sponsor deal with the Luna Cinema Series to appear at a series of film screenings, and it is popping up at all six of the Battle Proms events.
Branston also visited the Folk by the Oak concert at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire last month, where the focus was on promoting its new chutney offering.
The brand has opted to target picnic occasions as it believes its products are synonymous with the humble sandwich. The decision to devise the tour came about following the success of Branston's National Sandwich Day sampling campaign at Waterloo last year.
Agency Woof was responsible for the build of the van and it is managing its presence at each of the events.
Victoria Adams, brand manager at Branston, said: "We’re going to showcase the versatility of the Branston offering, from hot dogs with Branston relish at the cinema events to delicious cheese and chutney on crackers at the picnic concerts. [We're] highlighting that whatever the al fresco eating occasion, there is a Branston product for you.
"We’re incredibly proud to be taking the Branston van to the Luna Cinema, Battle Proms and Folk by the Oak concert this summer and hope we remind consumers that there is more than one way to enjoy condiments from their favourite brand."
A number of other food brands have embarked on summer sampling tours this year, including dairy brand Wyke Farms, cheese specialists Boursin and Arla brand Costello, who are delivering a 'smorging' experience.
