Moriarty has been working as an independent brand and creative consultant since October, having spent more than 15 years at Fitch. He has had experience working on a range of branding projects, primarily in the automotive and transport sectors.
Most recently, he successfully led a creative pitch for Lexus' European refresh. He has also dealt with projects for Dunlop, Goodyear, Pirelli and Nissan.
The hire comes off the back of a number of new wins for the agency in 2015 - including BT, Sabre and MoneySuperMarket - as well as a number of new design appointments that aimed to strengthen Brandfuel’s creative offering.
The company announced a 246% rise in profit before tax for the year ending May 2015 in October.
