Giuseppe Plances takes up the senior project manager role, which will see him responsible for developing and pitching creative briefs.
Plances was previously employed at Imagination, where he joined as an account manager in 2012 and worked his way up to account director.
During his time at the agency, Plances project managed events for the likes of the London Stock Exchange, Invesco, Rio Tinto and Orange.
Off the back of Brandfuel’s new tech and digital focus, the agency has selected James Chorley for the role of senior 2D designer.
Chorley has most recently pursued a freelance career, where he worked for agencies including Imagination on its Jaguar Land Rover account. Prior to Imagination, Chorley worked at communications agency Pulse Brands.
As the agency’s new senior production manager, Alex Pearce, who held a similar role at corporate events agency Banks Sadler, will deliver events for a range of clients.
Sue Winckler, client services business development director at Brandfuel, told Event: "We are focused on beefing up our client servicing team, hence why we have three senior recruits. We want to continue to achieve creative excellence."
She added the new recruits will "work across both the experiential and conference side of the business - we don’t split teams into sectors or clients."
Brandfuel was recognised at last year's Event Awards, where it took out the title of Production Agency of the Year.
