The venture will use Trinity Mirror's press reach alongside Brand Events' expertise in producing consumer events. Two of Brand Events; existing shows will be included in this new operation; The Keswick Mountain Festival and Kirstie Allsopp presents The Handmade Fair, with more launches set to be announced over the next few months.
Launched in 1999, Brand Events has been responsible for some of the UK's biggest consumer events such as BBC Children in Need's Carfest, Top Gear Live and Taste Festival. Trinity Mirror plc publishes more than 150 national and regional newspaper titles including the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror.
Chris Hughes, Brand Events CEO, said "We have new formats ready to be launched and are excited to bring together our formats with Trinity Mirror’s astonishing reach and relationships in communities across the country."
In August, Trinity Mirror paired up with retail and commercial banking service TSB for the Pride of Britain Roadshow, intending to drum up support for this years awards which will take place on 1 November.
