The Bombay Sapphire Blue Room in Soho will be open until 9 September. It will aim to offer a relaxing retreat for the public and media by providing gin cocktails and mixology and film masterclasses.
Indian cocktail bar Zenna is being dressed by designer Ross Hancock in a blue and glass theme with features such as Bombay Sapphire glassware and custom made shirts for bar staff. Austrailan artist Jari Kutasi was commissioned to design a video collage piece to act as a focal point for the venue.
Eleven contemporary gin cocktails have been created with award-winning mixologist Dan Thomson, such as the Sambra Sapphire - a twist on Bucks Fizz - and the legendary Bombay Sapphire Aviation.
Over the summer, the venue will host monthly masterclasses featuring the Bombay Sapphire Imaginarium and Flavour Experience, as well as brand inductions and cocktail competitions. The venue can also be hired for events while it is open.
Emma Johansson, global marketing manager of Bombay Sapphire said: "The Bombay Sapphire Blue Rooms at Zenna serves the spiritual home of Bombay Sapphire and showcases the imaginative quality of the brand in a tangible way. We look forward to welcoming the public this summer – from locals to visitors from afar – and hope that everyone who visits can unwind in the inspired atmosphere we’ve created."
