Ben and Jerry's music festival helps charities

Ice cream maker Ben and Jerry's is holding its debut UK festival on 7 August at Clapham Common.

Agency Cake will model the one-day event, called Sundae on the Common, on the US-version One World, One Heart that has taken place in Ben and Jerry's home town of Vermont every year since 1991.

Tickets have sold out for the event, headlined by indie-band the Thrills.

Proceeds will go to charities such as WWF, Trees for Cities and community-based We Are What We Do.

A Ben and Jerry's spokeswoman said it had taken the essence of One World, One Heart "for ice cream and music lovers in London".
