Taking place within the venue’s newly refurbished basement bar, the event will look at how Herradura can be paired with different chilli varieties to create unique taste sensations.
Attendees will receive a specially crafted Hoodrat cocktail on arrival, at which point Heath McDonald, chilli expert and head chef at Barrio Brixton will talk them through three different chilli varieties. These will then be incorporated into three different canapés for guests to try.
The creations will vary in spice, heat and intensity, and have been designed to complement three different tequilas, selected by Herradura’s brand ambassador, Nicci Stringfellow.
Tickets cost £15 and are available via Biletto. They include a welcome cocktail, three tequila-based cocktails and three chilli-based canapés.
Brands such as Jagermeister and Johnnie Walker have hosted tastings and masterclasses of late, meanwhile Bompas & Parr is to host an event with French beverage brand, Chartreuse on 20 April.
