The event, which was broadcast live on BBC Three on Saturday, saw freerunners from 17 countries tackle a specially designed course created by programme producers North One TV.
The winner, 21-year-old Tim ‘Livewire' Shieff from Derby, finished with 366 points – six more than American challenger Victor ‘Showtime' Lopez and 17 points ahead of Jason Paul from Germany.
"It's a great challenge to televise the World Freerun Championships," said North One TV boss Neil Duncanson.
"We never know what the competitors are going to do next. In fact, I don't think they always know what their next move is going to be, that's the exciting appeal of free running."
