The experience will see airline brands such as Virgin Atlantic Airways and British Airways (BA) stage virtual reality (VR) experiences. Virgin Atlantic will be using VR headsets to take guests on an immersive journey through the check-in process and on-board facilities on a Virgin Atlantic flight, while BA will be bringing a simulator to the festival, offering visitors the chance to fly a jet aircraft.
In addition, chefs will be onsite to treat festival-goers to classic Bajan flavours, while Mount Gay Rum ambassador Miguel Smith will leading a rum-themed masterclass. Fitness fan will be able to attend a yoga demonstration on the Saturday (6 May), and photographer Raymond Maughan will be showcasing his work relating to all things Barbados.
Londoners will be able to enjoy Bajan music such as calypso, spouge, contemporary folk, jazz and reggae performed by some Barbados' hottest acts. Competitions will take place daily, giving guests the chance to win a trip to Barbados.
More: This week, Air New Zealand staged its 'This Is How We Fly' pop-up in central London, giving guests a taste of the on-board experience. Earlier this month, Thomas Cook delivered a #GetIntoSingapore experience at Bluewater shopping centre.
