Appearing on London's Brick Lane from 3 - 6 November, the pop-up shop will be an 'Alladin's Cave' of goods that have been handed in to the police. Back Me Up intends to raise awareness of the good that are most commonly stolen, such as laptops and jewellery, and will donate all profits from the event will be shared between the charities  Mind, The Prince’s Trust and Shelter.

Paul Lynes, Managing Director at Back Me Up said: "The darker months can not only add to the opportunity for thieves to strike, but also lead to increased public fear about falling foul to thieves. Our Stolen Goods Shop will showcase, in a visual, real way, exactly what treasured items are most at risk and how easy it is for valuables and possessions to find their way into the hands of thieves. We’re raising awareness of how people can protect the things that matter to them, on their terms, as well as giving all the proceeds to deserving charities."

All goods have been sourced from police auctions, and the pop-up will be situated in The Old Truman Brewery.

In August, insurance company More Than staged an art exhibition for dogs, and, earlier this month, financial brand Orbis Access put up a giant race course in Canary Wharf
