The Synter Group, the company that operates the showroom, has selected Showcase Avi to design, supply and install the screen, which is 19 metres-high, six metres-wide and will span the entire height of the building.
The mesh panels will be a SMD 15mm pixel pitch and they will run an intelligent multi-function operating system to the screen, a move that will see it display content on any part of the showroom's wall.
The screen will be situated in the middle of the building and its central column will incorporate a lighting effect, enabling Audi’s brand colours to be displayed from all areas of the building.
Showcase Avi worked with the Sytner Group to further develop its initial brief. Following discussions it was decided to have the screen feature multiple inputs and content directed through the LED panels.
This means different streams of content can be played out at any given time across the showroom's different floors.
The column will be installed from this month, and unveiled in mid-July. Additional details around the experience to be delivered will be released closer to the unveiling.
Ben Collings, sales and operations director at Showcase Avi, said: "This is a truly exciting project to be part of - we are working with world renowned brands at an iconic venue on a ground breaking LED screen installation."
