The giftware sector's annual show, which is organised by Emap TPS and featured nearly 2,000 exhibitors, attracted a total of 32,518 visitors between 4-7 September.
Emap TPS managing director Alison Jackson said: "Before the show we were cautiously optimistic. We invested hugely in marketing and the basis of our optimism was the fact that advance registration increased. However, we cannot ignore the fact that trading in retail is currently difficult and I believe this has impacted on the attendance."
The organiser rebranded last month to bring it closer to parent company Emap.
