Army brings in Jack Morton for massive recruitment drive

The Army has brought in Jack Morton Worldwide to create and produce an experiential campaign around a recruitment campaign called 'Start Thinking Soldier'.

The experience, targeting 16-21 year olds was won following a five-way COI pitch. It will take place at 16 events across the UK from June to October and at air shows, festivals and skills days.

A 10 minute experience will involve six pods housing five digital tasks testing mental and physical fitness, leadership and teambuilding.

The tasks will include taking control of a Challenger II tank at night, defusing an unexploded ordnance using a robot device, piloting a UAV over enemy terrain, running through a series of challenges with a virtual squad of soldiers and testing out a future weapons system.

Performance will be logged via RFID wristbands.

Jack Morton is also creating a transportable virtual reality experience to be used in venues such as schools, colleges and retail outlets.
