Amplify to launch nationwide volunteer campaign for Platform2

Amplify has been appointed by volunteer programme Platform2 to deliver a nationwide campaign to attract volunteers.

The campaign aims to get 18-25 year olds to volunteer in community projects in a developing country. It will also feature activity at local colleges, youth groups, skate parks and shopping areas five days before each event, promoting the charity and the UK tour events.

"Platform2 is a three-year programme which will see more than 2,500 18-25 year olds volunteer for ten weeks in a number of developing countries," said Platform2 head of programme Mark Vyner.

The activity kicks off from 13 January at the Dogstar in Brixton and will visit Aberdeen on 22 January, Liverpool on 29 January and Birmingham on 5 February.

Platform2 is funded by the Department for International Development and run by Christian Aid, Islamic Relief and BUNAC.
