This year's campaign will focus on reaching ethnic minority communities, among which diabetes is more common, and will appear at targeted sites across London in March and April. A broader-based UK programme will follow later in the year.
Hype Party Planning has secured a lucrative contract with the Vietnamese government to produce The Charming Vietnam Gala, a two-day celebration of Vietnamese culture, in London. The event, which has been touring Vietnam, Singapore and Australia since 1994, will take place on 4-5 March at Westminster Central Hall and will bring together more than 300 performers and musicians.
Experiential specialist Sledge has been appointed by global skincare brand Nivea to handle a nationwide campaign for its Visage range of products. The tour, which aims to promote and educate both existing and new customers about the 43 Nivea Visage products, will launch in September, visiting major shopping centres across the UK.
Diamond City Events has appointed Partridge Events as exclusive design and production expert at its Twesledown venue. Diamond City MD Donna Comfort said: "It is a great chance for Partridge Events to take its business forward." Twesledown, managed exclusively by Diamond City Events, has also recently secured a deal to host corporate hospitality at the Farnborough Airshow. As the venue is situated at the end of the runway it will provide great views of the show. The venue has also been appointed as the training base for the Great Britain equestrian team ahead of the 2012 Olympics.
Christmas party specialist The Ultimate Experience has won two venues to add to its festive party offering for 2008. The 250-capacity Finsbury Town Hall and 400-capacity Banqueting House will be available to hire for themed events during December. The latest win takes the agency's portfolio of Christmas venues up to 13.
