New venue of the week: Prince Philip House

What’s it got? Home to The Royal Academy of Engineering, Prince Philip House has recently undergone a £6.5m refurbishment. It has 10 rooms that can be used individually or combined to create a large suite. A 150-seat lecture theatre is located on the first floor, together with an overflow lecture theatre and break out space. It can be subdivided into two smaller rooms with an acoustic sky wall that retracts into the ceiling.
Anything else? On 16 October the Duke of Edinburgh officially named the venue Prince Philip House and unveiled a new portrait, painted by award winning artist Paul Brason.
