EC&O promotes Golden to commercial director

In her new role Golden will take on responsibility for the exhibition sales department, previously headed-up by Jeremy Rees who was poached by Excel London last month.

She will continue to head up both the conference and event sales, and marketing and communications divisions.

"I'm very excited about working even more closely with our exceptional exhibition sales team who are industry-renowned for their continued successes. As venues we are proud to work with industry-leading organisers to produce outstanding events and I look forward to playing an integral part in continuing that tradition," she commented.

"I am delighted that Anna has accepted the position of commercial director," added group managing director Nigel Nathan.

"During the past seven years she has demonstrated both her ability and commitment to the company and I'm confident that she will continue to lead both the commercial team and marketing and communications with the same passion and dedication. I believe this is an exciting move for the venues and, on a personal level, look forward to working more closely with her in the future."
