Centaur Exhibitions' special interest division has made two new appointments as part of a restructure of its marketing team.

Neeshat Wadud has joined as head of marketing in charge of consumer exhibitions, and Vicky Elliott has been promoted to a marketing manager.

Wadud joins from Brand Events. Elliott has been with Centaur for six months and before that worked as partnership marketing manager for The Economist.

Nick Noble, managing director of Centaur’s special interest division, said: "I’m delighted that Neeshat and Vicky have joined Centaur at this exciting time for the business. Their expertise in such a broad range of marketing disciplines is something we can spread throughout the rest of the team to the benefit of our brands."

The appointments come a week after Centaur's marketing director Nolan O'Connor resigned.
