Event talks to Mark Foster

Event talks to Mark Foster

Five-time Olympic swimmer Mark Foster took time out at Event's pre-Games party to talk about his work in the event industry and his Olympic hopes.

Talking about life since retiring from swimming - the current anchor man for the BBC's Olympics coverage alongside Claire Balding - Foster tells Event that he is on the after dinner speaking circuit and is also a keen motivational speaker for events.

He is also heavily involved in encouraging children to get into sport, which will hopefully see them one day competing in an Olympic Games.

He has also been involved in the House of Nations concept created by The Ultimate Experience, at both their Kings Cross and Tower of London locations.

For more Olympic coverage make sure you subscribe to the print version of Event, which will feature an indepth showcase on the industry's involvement in the Games.
