Event TV: Launch of The White Building outside the Olympic Park
The White Building sits on the fringes of the park in Hackney. It has blank canvas event spaces, artists studios, a canal side outdoor area and spaces for art, education and community activities.
Event spoke to Daniel Moylan, chairman of the LLDC about the future of the venue.
Architect David Kohn designed the new fit out of the two-storey building. He told Event about its history as a former printworks, and before that as a sweet factory.
The White Building is part of the LLDC's work to regenerate the areas around the Olympic Park before it reopens the the public and for events from July 2013.
