Event went inside Kiwi House at Central St Martin's art school, which offered New Zealand sports fans a BBQ and a taste of home during the Olympics to offer.

UK-based agency Lily and Piper set up Kiwi House at the art school in London's King's Cross.

The most popular area was the outdoor back yard which housed New Zealand plants, seating made of crates and a BBQ with a menu designed by renowned chef Peter Gordon, who is based in New Zealand and London.

Inside, visitors could watch the Olympics broadcast from New Zealand on a big screen and keep track of the country's wins on blackboards. Athletes often dropped in to soak up the atmosphere and guests could sample New Zealand wines, beers and coffees from the bar.

On 8 August, a fire led to the house being closed after two gas canisters exploded in the BBQ area. It reopened the following night.
