Concerto Group chairman Mike Kershaw appeared on BBC News at Ten last night as part of a report on Christmas parties.
The report focused on the fact that as many as one in five companies are cancelling their annual bash as a cost-cutting measure.
Kershaw and his team have been rallying support for the Say Thank You at Christmas campaign since it launched earlier this month.
"There is the perception that Christmas parties are about fat cats drinking champagne and being frivolous with the company's money," he said in an interview at Old Billingsgate. "Our experience is that it's the opposite. It's about the work within an organisation being recognised by bosses."
