The team behind the now defunct store Woolworth's has hired Inca Productions to showcase three interactive stores in an experiential taster of its new website, Woolworths.co.uk.

Some 100 guests were welcomed to Soho Hotel's cinema before being taken on a walkthrough of some of the site's products.

The product showcase was in three catergories, technology and entertainment, toys and party, Ladybird clothing, kids' clothing and nursery.

Woolworths was acquired by the Shop Direct Group on 2nd February 2009

"We're delighted to be bringing back Woolworths in its 100th year,"  said Direct Group chief executive Mark Newton-Jones. "We've been talking to families across the country and have responded with a site that delivers the best of what they loved about Woolies, offered across four main categories of Kidswear, Toys, Entertainment and Party.
