Virtual events have received another boost as a survey from Virtual Edge and George P Johnson shows that 39% of respondents expect to increase their virtual event budget in 2010.
Only 3% of respondents said they expect virtual event revenue to dip.
Virtual replacements or addition to face-to-face events appear to be increasing in popularity. Last week an ON24 survey showed virtual events are on the agenda for 87% of companies.
This week's survey also shows that 37% of companies are looking to combine both virtual and physical events.
There is, however, still some uncertainty in the area. 48% of respondents are not sure of their virtual events budget this year.
