Live art in Grosvenor Gardens for Klimt's birthday

The Vienna Tourist Board and London's Lazarides Gallery will hold a live street art session inspired by artist Gustav Klimt in Grosvenor Gardens on 21 August.

The event is part of the Vienna Tourist Board’s campaign to commemorate the Austrian artist, who would have celebrated his 150th birthday this year.

More than 10 artists will create works inspired by Klimt on large, two metres squared boards. Visitors will be able to watch their progress on a screen the height of two double-decker buses.

When the artworks are compete they will be displayed at the Klimt Illustrated exhbition in Soho's Lazarides Gallery from 23 August - 3 September.
