Screenings are running at the Troxy from 16 March to 14 April.
The experience, which fuses film with live music and performance, will include cola floats, boxing, dancing girls, gangsters and custard pie throwing a-plenty.
It is the first time Future Cinema has revived a past production.
Future Cinema launched its new project The Other Cinema last month with a screening of David Lean’s Brief Encounter. The initiative aims to screen one classic film every month on the same day at unusual venues around the world. Simultaneous screenings of Brief Encounter took place in Norwich, Leeds, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Bournemouth, in locations such as Temple Works, a Victorian former flax mill in Leeds.
