Market stalls will line London's Dean Street on 27 May for a new event to showcase the area's creative industries.

Dean Street will be closed for Soho Flea Market which will exhibit and sell work from fashion design and glass sculpture to video games that have been developed locally. New music acts will perform on an outdoor stage to entertain visitors.

The flea market is run by not-for-profit music festival City Showcase and supported by a team of Dean Street businesses, in support of charity the Terrence Higgins Trust.

Nanette Rigg, director of City Showcase told Event: "We're hoping for around 5,000 people to an event which should be very high-end. We're thinking of it as the most glamorous flea market you'll event attend."
