Jackson Gilmour has won the contract to cater at a black tie charity dinner in St Paul's Cathedral this November.

Representatives from banks, law firms and other City institutions will attend the gala fundraiser to launch a major campaign for charity Opportunity International.

Alana Buckley, corporate events manager at St Paul’s Cathedral, said: "The 250 guests will enjoy a tour of the cathedral and a choir recital under the dome before drinks in the Nelson Chamber and dinner in the Crypt. The quality and service provided by Jackson Gilmour combined with its ethical approach makes it an excellent match for this event."

Opportunity International provides loans and other banking services to budding entrepreneurs in remote, poverty-stricken parts of the world.

The charity’s event organiser Julie Turner said that St Paul’s offered "a very special and unique experience which fits well with our business focus and Christian values".
