The Recipe wins festive catering contract at Old Vic Tunnels

It is the second successive year The Recipe has won the catering contract for the event space's festive offerings.

This year the theme is Northern Lights and the caterer will be providing food for up to 800 guests throughout the Christmas period.

John Stockton, managing director at The Recipe said: "All of us at The Recipe are thrilled to be back at the Old Vic Tunnels this winter. Christmas last year was amazing."

To create the theme the venue will be transformed to include a pine forest maze, boating pond complete with boats and a pier, and silver birch copses and illuminated islands with misty lighting effects created by event partner Stage Electrics.

The Chistmas party packages at the venue will run from 12 November until 21 December.

The Recipe recently scooped the Caterer of the Year gong at the Event Awards.
